MRBC Is launching 2018 with hands-on courses where you can wrench and learn on your own bike. Combining a tutorial / class session, a supervised work session, and a Full Wyatt membership to help you finish up your project, these courses will give you the confidence to start or continue wrenching on your bike.
Limited to 4 people per course, you'll be sure to get your bike-specific needs addressed, learn a lot, and get some 1 on 1 time with our mechanic, Rob Nadeau.
Basic tool use, understanding of wrenches, socket sets, and hand tools is an asset, but not required. A willingness to learn, patience and some freed up brain space is !
Attendees do need to have a hard copy of the shop manual for their bike, bought or printed for reference. We can order them for you through the shop if you still need one.
Getting your bike to the shop for work:
A one-month, renewable, Wyatt membership is included with the cost of this class ($200 regular), with the intention that you can use the course and membership to accomplish your own work on your own bike, leaving it here between sessions. Whether it’s just a chassis, or the roads are too icy, we recommend a CAA membership for getting the bike into the shop. Please arrange with us a date and time that you would like to bring it in or if you need any assistance.
