Motorcycle Electrical II Course
In this course we’ll build off of the foundations covered in our Basic Electrical course and learn more about your bike’s electrical components and systems. We’ll be covering the basics of how your bike runs. Covering your charging, ignition and starting systems, as well as going over various troubleshooting scenarios, and issues that can arise.
We’ll be showing you how systems work using a demo bike and example parts and systems.
Non-members can book in after the course to work on their own bike and get one free hour of shop use!
It’s suggested, but not required that this course be taken in conjunction with our Motorcycle Electrical Basics course. It’s recommended that students understand their bikes wiring harness, checking sparkplugs, batteries and know how to use a multimeter (ohmeter and voltmeter). It’s also a great idea to get a hard copy or PDF of your bike’s service manual to be able to continue on to do your own work on your bike.
* Basics such as soldering and lighting systems will be covered in the Electrical Basics course.
